service will require us to collect demographic, payroll, and
insurance data that will be transmitted to your employer and/or
applicable insurance carrier(s). Any information received by us
will not be given or sold to third parties for marketing
purposes or for any purpose outside of our contractual duties.
Information such as the number of times
you have logged onto our site, screens viewed, and session
length may be collected but will only be used to improve the
design and function of this site and to provide your employer
with data showing how many employees are using this enrollment
option.
PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION (PHI)
Tri-Star limits access to information to
those individuals employed by us who require access in order to
provide service to you. These employees have been educated on
how to protect your privacy. We share this information only with
outside parties as required by law or legal order or to fulfill
our contracted administrative duties. Any information or
documentation provided will not be given or sold to third
parties for marketing purposes or for any purpose outside of our
contractual duties.
You may have submitted PHI to us in order
for us to process Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) or
Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) claims or to determine
eligibility for the Social Security extension with regards to
COBRA. We have implemented internal safeguards to prevent
improper use of this PHI. You have the right to access any
documents, records, or any other information with regards to
your PHI that we have on file.
